Painting around downtown!!!

This summer, the community partnership between Pleasanton Art League and Pleasanton Downtown Assoc went bigger and bolder with the window painting project!
The Pleasanton chapter of National Charity League, , mother & daughter teams volunteered to paint windows, too. I was one of the team leads, but that's not my idea of "fun." I really wanted to paint!
Not to be left out, Alana Shoars, president of the Pleasanton Art League, and I went out to paint windows and it was just our luck, that it was a cold and windy day, in MAY!! 🤦‍♀️
Yes crazy things happened, like the paint tipping over, me ruining my shoes by stepping on black paint.... but at least windows were painted. 😂🤣
Local people, do take a walk around downtown to admire the beautiful window paintings!

Love painting on the handmade paper from Leather Village!! It is super thick, luxurious and can be a bit tricky to paint on. But the results are always amazing!
Thoroughly enjoyed the National Park paint-along series with Kolbie Blume. I just had to paint them. Didn't get to painting them all. As always my list of "things I want to paint" is too long and I had to stop and move on to other things!
