Market day in Illinois. 🤍

Mica Denim is officially ordered, and I’m spending the day finding a few more things to bring back to IVY • OAK.

One of my favorite parts of this job: seeing what’s new, placing orders, and imagining where everything will land in the shop.

Wild Root Acres fall soaps have landed and they are GOOD.

Coffee & Cream, Harvest Moon and Spiced Vanilla are here for fall, along with her Tallow Lip Butter in Spiced Vanilla.

And can we please talk about the tiny Highland cow on the lip butter? Come on.

These are limited quantities for a limited time, so if one is calling your name, I wouldn’t wait too long.

As the days get shorter and summer winds down, I noticed this tiny bean seedling making its way out of the soil. It doesn't know that autumn is around the corner or that the weather will soon turn cold. It just knew that the conditions right now were favorable, so it sprouted.
It made me think about how much time we spend worrying about the "right" moment in our own lives. We hold ourselves back because we think a season has passed or that we aren't ready. But God’s timing doesn't always align with our calendars. Like this little sprout, our job isn't to figure out the weather ahead—nature reminds us to just trust the soil we are in, grow when the conditions are right, and leave the rest in higher hands.
