Callie will be the first to tell you, working here changes how you listen.

Spend your days helping people hear better and you start catching everything! The TV cranked three notches too high, the "huh?" that lands a half second late, the smile and nod from someone who definitely didn't catch that.

Now she's the one nudging her own family to get their hearing checked, because once you see what a difference it makes, you just can't let it go. We think that's a pretty good problem to have!

Today we pause to remember.
Twenty five years ago, our country changed forever, and we honor the lives lost on September 11th, 2001. We remember the ordinary people who never made it home, and the first responders who ran toward danger to save others. We are grateful for the heroes, the survivors, and the families who still carry the weight of that day.

May we never forget.

A little upkeep like this keeps your hearing aids sounding clear and helps them last longer. Change your wax traps whenever the sound seems weaker, and your domes every month or so. Tip of the week: keep your hearing aids up and away from your pets. It sounds funny, but dogs and cats chewing up hearing aids is more common than you’d think. They’re drawn to the sound, and the size makes them an easy target once they’re left on a nightstand or the arm of a chair. A curious dog can destroy a pair in seconds. When your aids aren’t in your ears, keep them in their case and set them somewhere your furry friends can’t reach.
Your ears, and your wallet, will thank you.

Rod has been playing trumpet in the Peru circus for 46 years, and this season he was right there in the band again. If you made it out to Peru this year, you know how special it is. The whole thing is put on by the community, and these performers hold world records for what they pull off under that tent and actually broke a new world record this year!

This year was extra special too. It landed right around Rod and Beth's 28th anniversary, so he played the song "Beth" just for her. 28 years together and he's still finding ways to make her smile. ❤️
