🔥 CAN WE TALK ABOUT THE POKÉMON SHOW PROBLEM? 🔥

There are SO many Pokémon shows happening right now that it’s starting to water down the market.

Every weekend there seems to be another show, another pop-up, another event — and that sounds great on paper… but at some point, there aren’t enough collectors and buyers to support all of them.

And here’s the part that really bothers me:

There’s a difference between being a real vendor and simply going to Walmart or Target, buying up product, and trying to flip it at a show.

Real vendors have overhead.

💡 Utilities
📦 Inventory
🚚 Shipping
💳 Processing fees
🧾 Taxes
⏰ Countless hours buying, sorting, pricing, and maintaining inventory

We invest in the hobby year-round, not just when Target happens to restock.

When every show is flooded with people trying to flip retail product, it creates a race to the bottom. Prices get undercut, inventory gets duplicated, and the vendors who are actually investing in the hobby have a harder and harder time making it work.

Competition is healthy.
More collectors is healthy.
More shows can be healthy.

But when there are too many events fighting over the same customers and too many people treating Pokémon like a quick flip, the entire market suffers.

Support the vendors who are actually putting their time, money, and passion into the hobby.

Buy from the people who are here for the long haul. ❤️
