What a day. Thank you, Pocatello, for coming out and supporting the Zonta of Pocatello’s ISU Scholarship Fund.
Thank you to every vendor who set up with us, and thank you for all the great food. The cards were in the air, and the parking lot stayed full all day, including the lot across the street at the school. That kind of turnout means the world.
We are so glad to be part of this community. Thank you for showing up.

Saturday is the second chance.
Those remaining trees, plus leftover perennials and some of these beautiful mums, are going out as Plant Bingo prizes. This is not every tree in the nursery. Just the ones I was ready to clear so we can start fresh.

Like and share this if you want to support scholarships for ISU students — and if you love a good party.
Zonta Club of Pocatello graciously allowed us to host this fundraiser for their scholarship fund.
As the owner of The Pocatello Greenhouse, nothing will make me happier than watching people walk out with flats of plants they won at plant bingo — they got them for next to nothing, I don’t have to overwinter them, and the money goes straight to Zonta’s scholarships.
It feels so good to be included in this community. As a Zontian, I’m grateful that more than 20 businesses signed up as vendors. They paid to be here to support the scholarship fund. Now we need YOU to show up and support them.
You may have heard our radio ads or seen our billboards. Come be part of it.
Paul Anderson, Pocatello’s radio legend, will be broadcasting live — covering the entertainment, calling the cinnamon roll eating contest, talking food, and joining the party.
Palate Neighborhood Bistro, Brio Bowls, Geraldine’s, and so many other great vendors will be there. Geraldine’s is hosting the cinnamon roll contest, and I think a few spots may still be open if you want in.

See you Saturday.

💧 It’s running again!
Yesterday our Foreman Andrew from Mountain Top Lawn Care and The Pocatello Greenhouse brought this waterfall back to life. It had been broken in Chubbuck for several years — and now the water is flowing the way it was meant to.
A huge thank you to the HOA for trusting us with this project and giving us the chance to restore it. We’re grateful for the opportunity and really proud of how it turned out.
Nothing beats seeing a feature like this working again after sitting quiet for so long.
Need a waterfall, pond, or other landscape feature repaired or built? Give us a call.

🌳 FREE TREES — nonprofits, community projects, AND our frequent customers 🌳
Here’s how the tree business really works.
We bring in a group of the same variety. A customer walks in, looks them over, and takes the prettiest one. Then the next customer does the same thing.
After 7 years in business, and many cycles the leftover “uglies” are still sitting here in their pots.
They are not dead. They are not junk. They are just the ones nobody picked first.
I have several varieties of honey locust and some other trees — a few dozen in all — that I am want to give away so I can clear space for fresh new plant material this coming spring.
If you:
• run a nonprofit, school garden, church project, habitat restoration, community orchard, or any project that needs a living tree out of a pot and into the ground
• OR you’re one of our frequent customers and you’ve been waiting for the right tree
…this is for you.
These trees can live. They are probably severely root-bound, so when you plant them you’ll need to take a razor blade and score the circling roots so they can grow out. We’ll walk you through it.
This is NOT every tree in the nursery. Just the dozen or so ones I’m frustrated with and ready to give a second chance instead of throwing away.
Like and SHARE this so the right people see it.
HOW TO INQUIRE
Come in Monday or Tuesday when Scott Rockwood is here. He can locate the trees. Put your name down on the ones you want. I will choose the recipients.
Let’s get this nursery cleaned out and start fresh.
