This weekend’s October 10 Farmers Market is shaping up to be another wonderful Saturday in downtown Pocatello! From 9AM to 1PM, enjoy crisp fall air, local produce, handmade goods, and delicious bites from our food trucks. Lenet Nafay will be performing live on stage, adding the perfect soundtrack to a morning of shopping and visiting with friends. With only four weeks left in the season, now’s the time to soak up the autumn colors, support your favorite vendors, and celebrate the heart of our community at the market.

Apple Pie Bake‑Off Winners – Harvest Festival
During our Harvest Festival, we hosted our annual Apple Pie Bake‑Off — and the talent this year was outstanding. Our judges evaluated each pie on the flakiness of the crust, the flavor of the spices, and the firmness of the apples, and three bakers rose to the top.

1st Place – Elizabeth Brewer
Elizabeth wowed the judges with her Texas Southern Apple Pie, featuring a beautifully flaky crust, perfectly seasoned spices, and apples baked to just the right firmness.
2nd Place – Aiyana Taigen
3rd Place – Trish Smith
A heartfelt thank‑you to our panel of judges who lent their expertise and community spirit:

This week at the Portneuf Valley Farmers Market, get to know the family behind 2 Bee's Farm and Garden! They raise cows, goats, sheep, pigs, turkeys, ducks, and chickens, and take pride in providing farm-raised products to their community.

During the summer, their animals move between pastures on a rotation schedule. In winter, they're fed a mix of alfalfa and grass hay, along with grain to help develop marbling and flavor. The farm holds the appropriate licenses, and its animals are processed at a USDA-inspected establishment.

We're grateful to 2 Bee's Farm and Garden for sponsoring the Harvest Festival at the Portneuf Valley Farmers Market on October 3rd! Stop by, meet the family, and learn more about what they raise.
