I hesitate to even tell y’all about this because I’m pretty sure purple/red okra was the first thing I ever got trolled over. Ouch. Apparently people have FEELINGS about their variety of okra. But LOOK at it! 😍💚 Picked fresh from the garden this morning. That beautiful purple/red color comes from anthocyanins (the same kind of antioxidant pigments found in blueberries, but it still tastes just like the good ol’ okra we all know and love).

We only have about 4 pounds of okra unspoken for today, but it was too pretty not to show y’all. (…four pounds up for grabs if anyone wants to claim it.) I’m just telling y’all some cool info about some delicious food. Nobody be mean to me over okra. 😂

I mean, Painted Leaf Begonia is pretty dang accurate. 😍 Every time I look at these I see another color. Pink, silver, burgundy, green, some of them almost look metallic in the light. Nature showing off a little bit 🙌🌿

I got a message today asking if we had any of those big, frilly hibiscus because she’d been looking all over for them. (They’re the double bloom tropical hibiscus 🌺)
And my first thought was, “Why didn’t you look HERE first?!” 🥺
Then I realized…well, that might be my fault. Apparently I need to do a better job showing y’all the depths of what we have sitting around Turk Farm. So YES, we have the big frilly hibiscus. 🌺 We’ve got a couple. And by “a couple,” I mean about 50. 😂 Now that I’m not keeping any secrets, please don’t make us keep all these plants! 😆💚

We’ve got plenty of fresh produce in the farm store today including these big, beautiful jalapeños 😳 that are just asking to be stuffed, wrapped in bacon and thrown on the grill. 🙌🌶️🥓

Somebody asked me if we still carry American Hat Makers hats. YES!!! And gosh, I’m sorry I haven’t bragged on them more because I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE mine. 🙌

I wear this thing almost every single day. I take it off for church, and I did take it off for a funeral. Otherwise, it’s been from the beach to the ball fields, the Farm and everywhere in between.

And let me tell you how good those little air holes are! The first time I put it on, I SERIOUSLY thought something was wrong with my head because it felt like water was running through my hair. 😂 Nope. IT WAS AIR. A whole breeze coming through my hat in Texas. SOLD.
Y’all have been loving them too, and YES, we still have them and more coming in all the time.
