I’ve been slacking on social media(busy busy) but not on taking pictures!!

We had SUCH a blast at “Thriftober” Night last Wednesday!! 👻 🎃 🥳

Think: Fall nights, tons of Halloween decorations &So many cool Thrift vendors! ☺️

We started a NEW Halloween tradition for Nahla Thrift “WITCH CRAFTS”👻🧙‍♀️💕 Come see us to build your own Spell Jar or Money Bowl!

We have a ton of Vintage Halloween 🎃 items, a “witch”craft bar & Sal will be bringing our little meatball. (They’re cute- come say HI!)

We will be at Captain Roy’s tomorrow night & Every Wednesday night this month from 6:00-8:30!☺️😅👻

I’ve spent the last few days going through every last box that was left in the shop. Nahla Thrift

We had a 2 floor shop FULL of stuff, four storage units and a house full of inventory when we closed the doors….It was so much stuff.

The last few Weeks in Polk City we just wanted to get rid of as much as possible! We gave to friends, neighbors, churches, other thrift stores. We let people come in with bags and take what ever they want and donate whatever $$ they wanted to.

We took stuff to Goodwill, trashed stuff, The last days were so stressful we didn’t fu***ng care! It was kinda chaotic!

Yesterday when I was going through boxes I found a box FULL of scrap books and journals I’ve been keeping for tootie and Ty 😭😭😭💞 so many pictures and memorabilia and letters….I honestly completely forgot this box existed😭😭

I can’t believe it didn’t get taken, or tossed or donated during that crazy month. Like HOW is the box still with me!?!

In the box was a card with “TY” written on the front. It had never been opened but I was like huh, that looks like my handwriting and I think there is cash in it😂

When Ty got home from school today I let him open it and it was a birthday card from (we have no idea when- but at least 4? Years ago from Allison Renee and her family 😭😭💞💞🥰🥰 with cash in it haha!

I’m keeping this lucky 20$ until the day I die! (Ty made me trade him for a different one cause of course he wants to spend it🤣)

💜 🪴🌱 Just did a fresh drop of new (to you) vintage planters at my favorite lil plant shop on this side of the Mississippi 🌱🪴💜

These are just a few of My favorites! 💞

This trip was filled with mostly McCoy & Upco & all of the planters range from 1950s- 1980s! 🪴💜

will be be at Ted Lare in Cu***ng next Saturday the 24th at The Midwest Tropical Show 🌴🍹🌺 SO I HAD TO THROW IN SOME VINTAGE TROPICAL BABES so we could be there too! (thank ya for including us)

Inspired action taking its course…

I’ve wanted to use Unicorn Spit for a LONG time & my lil office coffee table has needed a revamp.

This month has been hard year (typo but not changing it because:true)

This morning I saw a photograph that that made my spirit happy & sad all at the same time.

Let me express it with some art 🤷🏼‍♀️ I told myself.

A crazy amount of very cool things have happened for me this week! 💞✊

Great Cardiology appointment, my Sons last day of his junior year,an exciting new career opportunity & MY COLORING book made it to print and landed w/us in St. Louis!

I always have an insane amount of little side projects going at once, because the hyper-fixation is real!

When I discovered that coloring in coloring books was super therapeutic to me, I wanted to design something for everyone that just made them happy, affirmed all of the things we need to affirm daily (like: I HAVE THE BEST F*CKING ENERGY 🥰) & so I did it!! It’s available on, Amazon, Tik Tok shop & through me! I have some I’d like to give away in exchange for an Amazon review so it that’s your thing hit me up!

•APRIL 25• Parental Alienation Awareness Day•

As an Alienated parent, certain days of the year are hard for me😓 Holidays & Nahla’s Birthday are particularly difficult and over the years , realizing that I’ve been completely alienated from my daughter and her life, April 25th is one of those rough days….

Parental Alienation Awareness Day is Celebrated on April 25th every year to raise awareness of parental alienation and its impact on children’s relationships with their parents. PAAD is part of a global awareness campaign.

Parental Alienation is a type of child abuse, also known as Hostile Aggressive Parenting.

It can occur when a parent or adult close to a child, such as a grandparent, aunt, uncle, or other family member, knowingly or unknowingly creates alienation in the child’s relationship with them. This can deprive children of their right to love and be loved by their family.

I have some things planned for today & most importantly when Nahla finds me on social media some day she sees that even though I decided to stop fighting with her dad & step mom over her I NEVER stopped thinking about her, loving her or silently fighting for her and this cause!

I love you Nahla Jane & I can’t wait to see you again some day! 💜💜
