This summer is packed with themed weeks, big games, creative challenges, camp traditions, and plenty of adventure. From Winter Olympics Week to Capture the Flag Week, every session brings something different to look forward to.

Dates: June 1 – August 16
Age: 19+ required (21+ preferred) 👤
Lodging: May require living on-site at the camp 🏡

🐴 Required Training & Experience
Certifications: UCONN’s Camp Instructors’ Horsemanship Safety Clinic (Camp pays for this) 🎓
Teaching: 2+ years of experience instructing groups of 5+ riders 🗣️
Styles: Must teach both Western and English riding 🤠
Ages: Direct experience working with children and teenagers 🧑‍🤝‍🧑
Skills: Equine health care and medical knowledge 🏥

Check to see if clothes, shoes, bathing suits, and rain gear from last year still fit, label belongings clearly, and start gathering the things your camper will need for a great summer of fun at camp.

🍀🍀🍀🍀4-H Auction & Tag Sale happening on Friday, May 1 and Saturday, May 2, 2026 at 326 Taft Pond Rd, Pomfret Center, CT

💰💰Benefits the Windham County 4-H Foundation, Inc. and its associated programs.

Event Schedule:
Tag Sale: Runs from 9 am to 5 pm both days. On Friday, there is a $5 "Early Bird" buy-in from 9 am to 10:30 am; it is free after that and all day Saturday.
Live Auction: Preview starts at 5 pm both days, with the main auction beginning at 6 pm.
Silent Auction & Raffles: Available throughout the event.

🎉🎉Highlights:
Over 4,000 square feet of tag sale items.
Auction items ranging from antiques and family trips to garden plants.
Food and beverages, including fresh apple pie.
