Volunteer store managers needed 🐱🐶🐈🐕.

Our nonprofit thrift shop is seeking two individuals to join our management team.

Are you tired of hearing heartbreaking stories of animal cruelty without knowing how to make a difference?
Are you retired, semi-retired, or simply looking for a meaningful way to use your leadership and organizational skills?

The Hudson Valley Humane Society is seeking 2 individuals to join our thrift shop team. One for Saturdays and one for Sundays.

As part of our team you'll help with the following:
Greeting customers
Organizing, displaying and pricing merchandise
Keeping the shop neat and clean
Performing daily register sales including all payment types.
Reconciling all daily transactions at the end of the day.
Performing all end-of-day closing duties to prepare shop for the next business day.

Volunteers are asked to commit to either every Saturday or Sunday from 11:00am to 3:30pm. However if you need to be away, substitutes are available with advance notice, making it easy to maintain a regular schedule while allowing for planned time off.

We carry pet supplies, fashion jewelry, leather handbags, ( some designer) kitchen and other household items, collectibles, puzzles, and so much more.

We are located at 200 Quaker Rd. in Pomona Exit 13 off the Palisades Parkway.

We are open:
Thursdays 4-6:30
Saturday and Sundays
11 to 3

We accept most major credit cards and Zelle.

Not familiar with our thrift shop???? You should know that all the proceeds from our sales are used towards our shelter animals' veterinarian bills!!!🐭🐹🐰🦊
