This 90s Ibanez JEM 555 BK came in with a cracked tremolo post hole caused by years of tension, abuse, and a weak Lo-TRS II trem system. We didn’t inject glue. We didn’t use filler. We didn’t gamble with the owner’s instrument.

We cut out the damaged section of the body entirely, rebuilt the trem post area using solid swamp ash, and permanently reinforced the foundation where the trem actually matters.

Then we went further.

The original Ibanez Lo-TRS II was removed and replaced with a real Floyd Rose Tremolo — because upgraded wood deserves upgraded hardware. The result is a trem system that holds tuning, survives aggressive dive bombs, and doesn’t flinch under metal-level abuse.

This is not a patch job.
This is a structural rebuild and performance upgrade.

If your guitar has a cracked trem post, stop playing it and stop trusting shortcuts.
