Everyone's in Vegas this week for ASD. We're not.

Not knocking the show. Plenty of people do well there. Just my personal opinion on why it isn't for us.

Years back I went as a buyer. From that side of the table the problem was fake contract holders. At a show that size everyone says they're direct. Most are three layers deep in a broker chain and you find out after you've wasted a week.

The past 5 years we've been on the other side of it. We hold a direct contract and we wholesale 50 loads a week, all to end users.
Now I see it from the seller side, and there are big claims flying around there too. "I want full take over of all your sites", everyone claims to be moving 50-100 loads a week. We're just looking to avoid those conversations.

What we want is simple. Real stores buying 1 to 2 loads a week, every week. Those are the accounts that actually last, and you don't find them in a crowd of 40k people.

That's why we go to WHSL instead. Smaller, actually focused on liquidation, and we grew our book there.
