Wine & Art Stroll is happening NOW and we are READY. Red wine. White wine. Food. LSU on the TVs.

And our friends from Maurepas Restaurant are manning the bar because we believe in putting trained professionals in charge of… well, our husbands 🤣.

This photo establishes that our commitment to Wine & Art Stroll did NOT begin yesterday. 🍷

Yes, this was an actual Halloween costume.
Yes, that is a box of Franzia. Yes, I was functional.

And NO, I will not be wearing it tonight because I have matured significantly since then and now drink my wine from a glass…

like a lady. 😏

But I do feel this demonstrates the historical significance of my dedication to tonight’s festivities.

So here’s the plan:

Wine & Art Stroll is 5–8 tonight in Downtown Ponchy and Cypress Landing is a stop.

We’ll have red wine and white wine.
We’ll have food and we’ll have the LSU game on because we may be cultured, but we are not heathens. 🐅

Come early and pregame with us or make us one of your stops during the stroll.

Just pace yourselves.

I have personally conducted the Franzia research and there is absolutely a point where the bag starts making decisions for you. 😂🍷

I’m not saying drinking wine is biblical, but the good Lord had options and chose vino. 😏🍷

And tonight, Downtown Ponchy is simply honoring the tradition.

It’s Wine & Art Stroll night, Cypress Landing is one of the stops, and we have spent the week decorating this place like company’s coming and we’re trying to hide how we normally live. 😅

We open at 10 am. COME EARLY.

Walk around while you can still appreciate all the new fall and Halloween decorations with two sober eyeballs. Shop the fresh restocks. Find something cute. Then grab that bracelet from the Ponchatoula Chamber of Commerce and commence your cultural enrichment. 🍷🎨

We promise that somewhere between “Oh, that painting is pretty” and “I can actually FEEL the artist’s unresolved relationship with her mother…” you’re gonna need another pour.

And as the Good Book almost certainly suggests…

Thou shalt not waste a cute outfit and a Saturday night. 😉

At some point we discovered one of our vendors had “accidentally” impaled a skeleton on a decorative stick to hold him upright. 😏

Respectfully 🤦‍♀️😅

There are approximately 206 bones in the human body and you managed to choose the ONE location that turned this from Halloween decor into an OnlyBones account. 💀🤣

He has since been repositioned. We are a respectable establishment. Mostly.

Anywho…

I don’t know whether yesterday was Mercury, a full moon, or Satan had some PTO...

But TODAY is a new day.

I know I know…

Louisiana is still cooking us like a gas-station rotisserie chicken, but inside Cypress Landing, we have chosen to live differently. 😏

It’s fall, y’all. 🍁

And tonight almost 100 vendors restocked Cypress Landing with Halloween, fall décor, new boutique stuff, gifts and enough goodies to make you forget what you actually came in for.

So TOMORROW is your head start cause Saturday is the Wine & Art Stroll, and I know how this goes…

At approximately 3:42 Saturday afternoon, you’ll be standing in your underwear surrounded by every piece of clothing you own, sweating through the makeup you already put on.

Suddenly everything makes you look fat.

Your good jeans have betrayed you and one b**b is sitting weird in the only shirt you halfway like.

Don’t be her.

We open tomorrow at 10.

You cannot leave something you love sitting in a booth for two weeks and come back acting betrayed when another woman with faster decision-making skills has taken it home.

As you can see, we’ve been working ourselves TO THE BONE behind the scenes getting ready for a BIG weekend. 💀

New treasures are coming in. Restock is tonight. Holiday decor is falling from the ceiling. Vendors are moving things around faster than I can keep track of what the hell lives where.

It’s also your reminder that we have almost 100 vendors and not a warehouse out back where we keep three more of everything you talked yourself out of buying. 😅

See it. Love it. Grab it. Buy it.

Cause if you come back in October looking for it, Samantha 2.0 may already have it sitting on her mantle. 😂

At what point in a wine stroll do you become qualified to critique art? 🍷

Cause I feel like one glass is “Oh, that’s pretty.”

Two glasses is “I really love her use of color.”

And by glass three, you’re standing six inches from a painting explaining the artist’s childhood trauma to a complete stranger. 😂

Wine & Art Stroll is 4–8 PM this Saturday and Cypress Landing is one of the stops!

Grab your bracelet from the Ponchatoula Chamber of Commerce, then spend the evening strolling downtown sipping wine and saying things like...

“Mmmm. Yes. The color choice here feels very… brave.”

“I can FEEL her despair through the brush strokes.”

Anywho, this is exactly the kind of cultural enrichment I can get behind. 🍷 🎨
