What is happening in China right now is very serious.🧨🧨🧨

Following the recent deadly factory explosion, full audits and inspections are now taking place across many fireworks factories in China. Many factories may struggle to comply with stricter regulations and safety requirements moving forward.

This will very likely have a major effect on future production, availability, and timelines heading into next season.

Most importantly, prayers for the families and workers who lost their lives in this horrible tragedy 🙏

Also, please do not store large amounts of fireworks inside homes or residential garages.

I know some people view it as a flex, but it is simply not worth risking your life, your family’s safety, or your neighbors’ safety.

Accidents like these are extremely damaging to the fireworks industry as a whole and will almost certainly lead to increased regulation here in the United States as well.

Yesterday, President Trump announced an additional 25% tariff on all countries conducting business with Iran. Unfortunately, China is included in this group. As of January 12, this additional tariff directly affects fireworks imports.

While we are awaiting final clarification on how this will be enforced, we want to be clear about what is already happening across the industry. All major importers, are currently pausing shipments until there is more certainty. This pause will inevitably create a shipping bottleneck as we head into what is expected to be a record-breaking summer, especially with the upcoming America 250 celebrations driving unprecedented demand.

What does this mean for you?

Prices will increase once new shipments are released under the higher tariff structure (Tariff going from 30% to 55%)

As always, we will do our very best to keep prices as low as possible for our valued customers.
