We are so excited for fall arrivals!! We have some beautiful mums in stock. Keep your mums blooming beautifully with these simple tips:

*Water deeply at the base until water drains from the pot.
*Check the soil daily, mums get thirsty!
*Water when the soil feels dry.

Think fall is just for pumpkins? Think again! Early autumn is one of the best times to plant container roses in Michigan. Getting them in the ground right now gives your roses a stretch of warm soil and cool air. Instead of fighting summer heat, they can put all their energy into building a massive, strong root system before winter sets in.

Tips for successful planting:
*Get container roses in the ground about 6 weeks before our first hard frost.
*Dig a hole as deep as the root ball & twice as wide.
*Skip the food. Do NOT fertilize or prune right now, you don't want new growth freezing in January!
*Water them deeply and pack a generous layer of mulch around the base to insulate those fresh roots.
