WE MAY BE GOING AWAY, BUT WE ARE GOING AWAY WITH OUR INTEGRITY INTACT.
To the best of our knowledge, PBR Vapors has never knowingly sold a product that we believed would harm our customers or the public. For nearly a decade, we have helped thousands of adults get away from combustible ci******es and find an alternative that worked for them.
And this little v**e shop “out in the sticks,” in the little Town of Ecru, Mississippi, didn't just sell v**e products. We fought.
We fought locally.
We fought at the state level.
We fought nationally.
We stood up for the rights of adult v**ers in Mississippi and across this country, even when doing so didn't benefit us financially. We spoke up because we believed—and still believe—that adults should have the FREEDOM OF CHOICE to decide what they put into their own bodies.
We sincerely hope the federal government eventually gets its head out of its a$$ and passes sensible legislation that gives American adults the freedom to choose regulated ni****ne alternatives—including the flavors they choose—instead of policies that drive consumers toward questionable products and unregulated markets.
At the end of the day, this is about FREEDOM OF CHOICE.
And here's the part some people aren't going to like hearing:
If you abandoned legitimate open-system v**e shops for disposables, you helped create the market that put shops like ours out of business. Pontotoc County is losing an actual v**e shop where we knew our products, serviced what we sold, cared about our customers, and tried our damnedest to follow the law.
Meanwhile, customers continue spending their money at businesses selling products they may know very little about—sometimes from manufacturers and supply chains thousands of miles away. A cheap price and flashy package don't tell you what's actually inside.
And to the Town of Ecru, Pontotoc Police Department, Pontotoc County Sheriff's Department, and the State of Mississippi: if enforcement is going to be the law of the land, then ENFORCE IT EQUALLY.
Don't just regulate the businesses that voluntarily put themselves on the radar and tried to comply. Investigate the convenience stores, retailers, back rooms, under-the-counter sales, and other sellers throughout this county. If illegal ni****ne, controlled substances, or other prohibited products are being sold, find them and enforce the same laws against them that legitimate specialty retailers were expected to follow.
Don't take our word for it. Go look.
PBR Vapors may be closing its doors, but we are walking out with our heads held high. We know what we stood for. We know how many smokers we helped. We know how hard we fought for this industry and for our customers.
They can close the chapter on PBR Vapors.
They cannot take away our integrity.
And they damn sure cannot say we went quietly.
