& Fall Excitement:
Hug A Highland: Spend some quality time with Maple, our adorable Mini Highland heifer. Maple loves treats and is sure to bring joy to visitors of all ages. Sessions can be booked with Grace by contacting Lisa At (989) 550-9006. Our sunflower trail offers a picturesque stroll through vibrant blooms. Admission is $5 per person, with children aged 5 and under admitted for free. U-Pick Pumpkin Patch: Expected to be ready in mid-September, our pumpkin patch promises fun for the whole family as you search for the perfect pumpkin. Harvest Festival: Mark your calendars for September 21st and 22nd for our Harvest Festival. More details to come, but expect a weekend filled with fall fun and festivities. Christmas Holiday Season:
Black Friday Grand Opening: Join us on Black Friday for the start of our holiday season! We'll have a wide selection of wreaths, pre-cut trees, and unique gifts to kick off your holiday shopping in style. While our choose-n-cut fields won't be ready for a few more years, we're excited to spread holiday cheer with our selection of pre-cut Christmas trees, including Fresh Cut Fraser Fir, Balsam Fir, Canaan Fir, and Blue Spruce. We offer free tree shaking, wrapping, and drilling to make your tree selection experience as convenient as possible. In addition to trees, we provide fresh winter greens such as wreaths, porch pots, grave blankets, and garland to decorate your home for the season. Join us for wreath and craft classes, or schedule a private class for your office party or girls' night out. The Sugar Plum Shack: Step into our Sugar Plum Shack to find Christmas wonder around every corner. Browse custom decorations, gifts, ornaments, and more to deck the halls of your home. Warm up by the fire in our Grain Bin Gazebo with a s'more kit and hot chocolate, and don't forget to write a letter to Santa at our festive desk.

We love sharing the sunshine, the flowers, and all those cute animal faces… but folks, this week has been a learning curve! 😅

With Grace taking over more of the day-to-day at Creekside, we’re definitely finding our rhythm. The animal shelters aren’t quite finished yet, the cows got out twice, the goats got out once (because of course they did 🐐), Grace ended up with a pretty nasty sunburn, the weeds seem determined to take over both home and Creekside, and our sewing classes were a little more chaotic than we anticipated.

But we’re not giving up.

We’re learning, adjusting, and reminding ourselves that every new adventure comes with a few bumps along the way. The animals are happy, the kids are learning, and we’re building something special one day at a time.

So tomorrow, we’re taking Sunday “off” … or at least farm-off. 😆

After church, the sheep still need sheared, and if the weather cooperates, the corn needs sprayed. But we’re going to slow down a little, catch our breath, and get ready for another week.

Thanks for following along with us through the pretty moments and the messy ones. We appreciate you all more than you know. ❤️

✨ One minute you’re sipping cocktails at a wedding… the next, a fluffy Highland cow walks in. ✨🐮💐

Our sweet Ginger made a special appearance during cocktail hour at beautiful Meadow Brook Hall near Rochester, Michigan, and as usual, she stole a few hearts and posed for countless photos. ❤️

Just a little farm magic from Port Austin making its way to one of Michigan’s most beautiful wedding venues.

The Highland cows get all the credit around here, but the goats will always have my heart. ❤️🐐

These silly, lovable little troublemakers have been hard at work practicing for Snuggle and Stretch with Goats! this Saturday at 9am with Annie Cizek! Expect plenty of smiles, laughter, and goat snuggles (and probably a goat or two trying to be the center of attention).

We plant clover as a cover crop in the areas where we don’t have Christmas trees. Not only does it help improve the soil, but it also creates a beautiful food source for our bees! The bees gather nectar from the clover and turn it into delicious local honey right here on the farm. 🍯

Stop by during our open hours and pick up a jar of Creekside honey! 💛
