I will always remember sitting down with dad at a young age and watching him jam some chuck berry on a Gibson amazed. A core memory for me that started a life long music passion.

My whole life he always fostered pushed and encouraged my love for music. Something I will always be deeply greatful and appreciative of.

Even cooler, in retirement he opened American Guitar which continues his mission of encouraging and fostering the growth of the next generation of musicians; as well as supplying them with the best vintage and modern instruments available.

I don’t post here a lot, but let’s all take a moment to wish Larry a happy birthday.

I walked into American Guitar, Friday morning February 16, 2024 only to discover the floor was covered with water due to a pipe leak under our floors . American Guitar will temporarily close due to all the damage. The floors need to be ripped up and the broken pipe needs to be found. I am devastated by the damage it has caused. We were fortunate that our landlord allowed us to temporarily rent space next to our space. Most of our inventory was undamaged thankfully and we are able to still offer, Lessons, and limited repairs. We will offer our inventory of guitars that we sell online as well as our website, ( www.americanguitar.rocks ) and If there are any guitars on the site that you would like to see call ahead and we can arrange it.

We are extremely grateful that we were able to save most of our inventory and look forward to opening American Guitar very soon. We apologize to our customers for the time we will be closed and we will keep you posted on our website.
