When I started Rapha Artisan Breads, I promised myself I would share more than recipes and bread. I wanted to share the journey God has taken me on.

My newest blog is one of the most personal stories I've written. It's about family, sacrifice, adoption, and the incredible way God weaves our lives together long before we understand His plan.

I hope it encourages you as much as it encouraged me to write it.

Over the past several months, I have spent a lot of time baking bread and working on my website. Along the way, I have decided to start a blog. My goal is to write weekly, but I have also learned the importance of giving myself grace when things don't go as planned.
I feel called to share my story—the joys, the challenges, the heartbreak, and the healing—in the hope that it might encourage someone else who is walking through a difficult season. If my experiences can bring hope, comfort, or encouragement to even one person, then sharing them will be worth it.

Before my husband passed away, I had recently begun my journey as a registered nurse. Nursing was a second career for me—actually, a third if we count being a stay-at-home mom, a role that will always hold a special place in my heart.
