With gratitude for all who served, sacrificed, and continue to protect our nation, we remember.

Save this cozy coffee-cake recipe for your next baking day! ☕🍰

Coffee Cake with Sanibel Blend Mushroom Coffee 255 grams

Ingredients:
• 1½ cups all-purpose flour
• ½ cup sugar
• ½ cup brown sugar
• ½ cup softened butter
• 1 egg
• ½ cup sour cream or Greek yogurt
• ½ cup strongly brewed and cooled Sanibel Blend Mushroom Coffee 255 grams
• 1 tsp vanilla
• 1 tsp baking powder
• ½ tsp baking soda
• ½ tsp salt

Streusel topping:
• ½ cup flour
• ⅓ cup brown sugar
• ¼ cup cold butter
• 1 tsp cinnamon
• Optional chopped pecans

Directions:
1. Heat oven to 350°F. Grease and line an 8-inch baking pan.
2. Brew the coffee strongly, then let it cool completely before mixing it into the batter.
3. Whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
4. Cream softened butter with both sugars. Beat in the egg and vanilla.
5. Fold in the dry ingredients, sour cream or yogurt, and cooled brewed coffee until just combined.
6. Pour into the pan. Combine the streusel ingredients until crumbly, then sprinkle over the top.
7. Bake 35–45 minutes, until a toothpick comes out clean. Cool before slicing.
