Since I have been doing rideshare, I have seen too many accidents or soon-to-be accidents on the roads, and this is the subject I am going to talk about “Road Rage and Driving Etiquette”.
Each day there is always something. I may have a good day and there are days where I will sit behind my wheel driving and watching other drivers from the distance. It seems that we have more drivers in Southwest Florida that have road rage or their driving etiquette.
I went to Google to ask “Why are there so much road rage here in Florida”. The common answer is being cut off by other drivers. With that logic, anyone will get mad, but let me ask you question is it worth being angry?
Stop being angry! Turn from your rage! Do not lose your temper, it only leads to harm. (Psalms 37:8 NLT) Think about that it, it makes sense. What can you really do, nothing. We must have self-control.
So, what about the drivers on the highway speeding and nearly cutting someone off? These drivers know they are in violation of proper driving etiquette, a lot of time it evolves two drivers and they don't care for the other drivers. In this case, not much we can do but wonder where the state trooper is.
As Christians, it is always hard to refrain but Jesus tells us in Luke 6:29 that we are to resist. Romans 12:17-19 NIV tells us to do what is right and keep peace and not revenge but to leave it to God. Can you do that?
