Little Painted Polka Dots Unique and affordable handmade jewelry My handmade designs are unique and affordable. I was planning ahead. Planning ahead for the day I would become a mommy.

I create pieces that I would wear myself - you'll find a wide array of styles, using a variety of metals and materials. My goal is to create things that I love that will appeal to almost everyone's style and budget. Custom requests are always welcome!

This whimsy little shoppe opened in 2008. I knew that I would want to be able t

o stay at home with my child/ren and I needed a plan in place to allow that. Little Painted Polka Dots is my outlet, to do what I love and love what I do. Not many people have the luxury of waking up every morning with passion and excitement about “going to work.” I decided that I needed to be one of those people so I took a risk and followed my dream. Here I sit four years later, with a smile on my face and a beautiful baby girl in my arms. I am so thankful to each and everyone of you who has helped me achieve this goal and follow my dreams. Thank you!

I launched Little Painted Polka Dots 12 years ago this month. I didn't know exactly where it would lead, but my purpose was to build a brand early enough so when I did become a mama, I'd be able to work from home with my babies by my side. That's all I ever wanted, and that is exactly what I was blessed with. I had the support of my family and friends, and thousands of wonderful customers over those years...some of whom even became great friends. I was able to be home with Nella, and also AJ, every step of the way. I am forever grateful for that blessing! Unfortunately, this past year wasn't easy and the effects of Covid took its toll. I had many supply chain issues and ungodly shipping issues, and I had to press the pause button on my small business...my other baby. After so many months, I thought things would return to normal, but they haven't. That being said, I've decided to not renew my website and keep the pause button pressed indefinitely. Thank you all so much for sharing the past 12 years with me. Thank you for supporting my dream and allowing me to live it out. My heart is heavy today, but I know it won't always be. XO

Hi sweet friends. 💗
I've been MIA, I know. I am not ready for a long sappy post about how this past year has affected my small online business, and although that post is coming, I'm not ready today. I just wanted to say hi and check in with you. I'm well. My marriage is well. My beautiful kiddos are bigger and stronger and sillier and sassier, and they're well too. I hope and pray the same for you. I've been making cookies(The Cookie Mama) instead of jewelry. We've accomplished our challenge with over 1,200 hours. And like the rest of you beautiful people, I've survived all of 2020. I hope you're taking care of yourselves. Chat soon! XO 🥰

Sometimes choosing joy is easier said than done. Especially in this time of coming to terms with the incredible suffering that exists around us. But many emotions can share the same space in our hearts. Great love and tender joy can cohabit the space of sadness and raw grief.

Be where you are and take some soft and open time to nurture your soul. Know that Divine support and unconditional love are always right here in the room with you. And where there is love, joy tenderly grows. 💙
