NEW ARTIST ALERT

One of my favorite parts of owning a small business is getting to discover and support other small business owners and artists along the way.

Something beautiful just arrived at Breathe, and I couldn’t wait to open these new art prints and see them in person!Every piece is unique, full of personality, and created by a talented small business owner we are so excited to now have in our shop.

Consider this your little reminder to keep supporting the dreamers, creators, artists, and small businesses putting their hearts into what they do. Because when you shop small, you’re often supporting someone’s dream in a very real way.

I’m reaching out to our amazing local community for a little help. ❤️

I recently started donating my time to the pantry at the Presbyterian Church of Center Moriches, and I’ve seen firsthand how important these donations are to so many local families.

Right now, they are especially in need of:

Boys’ and men’s clothing
Baby and Children’s clothing
Household items
Toys
Diapers
Dog food, cat food
School supplies
Fresh produce

If you’re cleaning out closets, organizing your home, or have any new or gently used items you’d like to donate, please consider helping our neighbors in need. Sometimes the things we no longer need can make a huge difference to someone else. ❤️

Originally this post was about the date for Witches and Warlocks Weekend Out.
Some of the audience and the creative of last year’s event thinks that by me posting about it, that I was copying her when all I was doing was putting it on the radar.

The event is happening by the decision of many. I quickly archived it to calm the situation down (which it has not).

I’d like to explain that, I didn’t intend to hurt anyone, I innocently posted about a future event that is happening.
An event that has been happening in other areas long before it happened here.

If you know, nothing about my character and want to think that I single-handedly stole an idea, there’s nothing I can do about that.

Which way are you hanging yours?
Hanging a horseshoe above a doorway with the open end facing upward brings good luck. Hang downward to “spill” the good fortune on those passing beneath it.

Horseshoes are considered lucky because of their traditional association with protection and good fortune. The superstition dates back to ancient times. The U-shape of horseshoes is often associated with the crescent moon, a symbol of fertility and prosperity in some cultures. Additionally, it was believed that iron, the material from which horseshoes are typically made, could repel evil spirits.
