Ok, here we go with an update:
The below photo shows our current list of products. Yes...you'll have to zoom in. No, I don't have a website, that's more money in overhead costs that I don't have to transfer to you the customer.
Please look at the top of the page for explanation of costs of colors. I'm transparent and will explain anything you have a question on.
For those new to our page --- We are a CUSTOM BAIT shop. What does that mean? It simply means that you can get me to make just about any color you can dream up.
Question? Can you make an 'exact color replica' of another bait? Well, heres the short answer...No.
I can get very close but don't expect EXACTLY the same colors as someone else's creation.
My philosophy on that...longer answer. There are many different color patterns out there that will catch fish. No, it doesn't have to have 3-4 different colors to get the job done. If it's as simple as white,silver or gold you will catch plenty of fish.
I do believe that a darker color on top and a lighter color for contrast on bottom has much merit as it imitates baitfish. That's pretty much the goal here anyway. I will not suggest to you a lot of different added colors to make a sale. With me more colors adds a little to the price tag.
I try to keep my prices as low as what you can pay for it on the shelf. If different color patterns are needed we can do that and a dollar extra for an extra color is a fair shake because you get to decide what colors those are.
Here is where I lose people: "Its just easier to pick something off the shelf than go through all these colors to choose several I want." -- yep, we are a 'convenience' society now. I get that, but if you truly want something different and are adamant about what you want...then that's what I do!
I'm your guy! I'll design your baits -- your way!
* there really isn't a better feeling in artificial bait fishing than knowing that YOU caught a bait on a a lure that YOU designed!
I have repeat customers that know Exactly what they want cause they know what has worked with colors and baits in the past. You may be one of them! Let me know.
