Yesterday was our 4th time at the Puget Sound Book Festival, and wowzers, y'all showed up! As is often the case, we had too much dang fun at the event, and so we didn't take many pictures, but trust that the best bookish time was had by all.

Huge thanks to for hanging out with us all day! We can confirm that she is as delightful as her books, even after 4 hours in the sun. If you missed her but want signed copies of her books, she graciously signed our leftover stock, so swing on by and grab one.

Big thanks as well to and .co who organize and run this event. Every year is somehow bigger and better than the last!

And of course, thank you to all of the bookstores and book lovers who showed up and made this event so incredible. We are honored to be a part of such a vibrant, lovely, and committed book community. ❤🤯

We hope everyone gets a little rest, lots of hydration, and plenty of time to enjoy the stack of books you snagged at the event, and we can't wait for next year!

We added lots of sparkles and emphasis to this photo because we REALLY want to make sure y'all make it to the Puget Sound Book Festival this Sunday so you can meet Samantha Allen and get your own signed copy of "Puck"!

This is our favorite event of the summer. Oodles of bookstores, bookish makers, authors, food, and PNW sunshine on the water. What could be better!?

Hold onto your butts, cutie patooties, because we have a very exciting announcement, which is that another new bookseller has joined the Salmonberry Books crew!

Everyone, say hi to Elijah (he/him)!

Elijah works in forestry during the day and as a bookseller nights and weekends. When he isn’t working, he enjoys reading (fantasy, sci-fi, horror, non-fiction), playing board/card/tabletop games, and spending time with friends and family. Some of his favorite recently read books include:

-“Terrible Worlds: Revolutions” by Adrian Tchaikovsky
-“We Are Eating the Earth” by Michael Grunwald
