Purple Butterfly Gifts I am a small business owner who decided to follow her passion for sewing and making gift baskets for others.

I decided to do this because Gifting is my love language! I love to share my gifts with as many people as possible.

This is what it looks like when you have been prepping for your first Pop-Up shop and had an order due to ship out today.

You use the blinged out chair in the space you are renting and get your order packed up to go in the mail. Lol. 🤣.

So I made a quilted tote in 2 hours. It’s the gift bag for a birthday gift for my son’s friend.

I decided to do something different this time. I made it with one pink handle, one blue handle, pink lining inside.

Is the mismatched handle a vibe or should I have kept it matching? Help me decide for my next ones

Facts: When you own a sewing and gifting business, you tend to always say I’ll just make that. 😆.

When my son needed a gift bag for his friend's 13th birthday yesterday, store bags just wouldn't do.

Theme: Stitch & Angel. Solution: quilted tote that is part of the gift.

Features I added on this one:

• Quilted Stitch + Angel exterior
• One pink / one blue glitter handle (new idea!)
• Pink interior lining
• A Bag Charm Ring

I've made these for friends before in solid pink or blue handles - but I think this split version might be my new favorite yet!!!! I’m so obsessed with the blue and pink handle.

Would you want a tutorial on how I make these?Comment TUTORIAL if you’re interested.

Sometimes you want to keep sewing but you need to know when it’s time to call it a night. I already knew because I was starting to have issues sewing. And this bent needle was my sign to go to bed. I know if I continued, it’s not going to get better for me tonight. Lol.

So night everyone! See you tomorrow!!! lol

When you have to trim the extra batting first…
or your quilted piece will NEVER be straight!!

Anyone else do this?

Anybody else HAVE to trim away all that extra batting before cutting your quilted piece down to size? ✂️😂
I swear, if I try to square it up with all that batting hanging around the edges, I can never get my pieces straight!

Also… can we appreciate that cutting sound? 😍🎧

Sewing ASMR is a thing, right?
Tell me I’m not the only one who does this! 🧵🦋
