CELEBRATING 7 YEARS AS A NO-KILL SHELTER 🧡

Back in 2019, we made a promise to the future by becoming part of the solution. We believed that every person and animal deserves to experience love, compassion, and companionship. And over the next 7 years, we would work hard to make this possible. Today, our promise is recognized by Best Friends Animal Society who have awarded us this plaque for maintaining a 90%+ save rate. To us, this is a symbol of a much greater achievement. It's a reminder that we've spent the better part of a decade becoming educators, innovators, and the seed of compassion in our community. And it is our duty to continue into the future.

Our community is more than an integral part of our no-kill journey and our mission to save. Each time you lend us a hand, share a story, learn something new, or donate just a dollar, our vision for a future where every animal is given a chance to survive and thrive becomes reality. And we thank you!
Best Friends estimates that 7 million American homes will welcome a pet this year. If just 6% of these homes choose to adopt their pet, all of our fellow shelters and rescues nation-wide would be able celebrate their no-kill status too. We hope to rejoice with them in a future not too far from now 🧡
