So our little Possum friend came back. It was trying so hard to get through the screen door but sooooo glad it couldn't get through cus THAT would have been a bit of a nightmare. Called our local wildlife animal care & was able to grab & rush it out there. Back foot was dragging & just didn't have the heart to leave it cus, BABY! Will keep tabs on it & see how it's doing tomorrow. I honestly don't love these little suckers 🥰🥹

Sooooo much has been in motion over the last few months! New stock, updating items we've carried before but had to re-imagine due to change of glass stock availability from tariff issues. STONES! And then today Cece thought she caught a prize 👀. A poor baby Possum 🥹 This one was smart & played dead until we could save him & get it outside safely. Poor little one. A little slobbery, unsettled, & wobbly, but thank goodness Cece is soft with her mouth 🥰 Hopefully it finds its family & lives its best street cat life with a great story to tell!

Now back to work... more fun coming daily!

Whenever you take a class from anyone & expressly do what is suggested NOT to do, take responsibility for your choices. I say this because I was recently contacted by a young person who took a class that we held over 2 years ago by a guest teacher who, yes, is a personal friend of mine. This student has told us several times that we are responsible for her mental problems since said class on working with Sprit Boards, which she refers to as a Séance, which we did have a day later, for which she did not attend, & I have recordings from both the class she attended as well as the Seance.
Both the teacher & I are not novices to the Craft, Ghost Hunting, Seances, & working with Spirit/s in general. Neither one of us are novices at teaching &/or working with the general public as well. However, this is one of the few times that I have had to remind someone that we are not responsible for your actions after taking a class. Alternative spiritual paths are other ways of looking at life, how we live it, & sometimes what may exist beyond it. If you were to take any other kind of class on a subject, it should be because you are generally interested in expanding your knowledge. If you were to blame a Science Teacher for your experiments not going the way you wanted based on ONE Class, that would be considered very irresponsible of YOU, not the teacher. Do we feel for that person who is going through a hard time because of their own actions that they did after this class even though when she brought up her agenda in the middle of the class & was told SEVERAL times that what she wanted to do was NOT suggested without a LOT more knowledge about the subject &/or using certain protocols to protect herself further? Yes, we do feel for them & wish them to make better choices, & that they find the healing that truly aligns with their own personal path.

Yup! We're having a Candle Magic/k Class coming up on May 29th!!

From Root to Flame, Candle Magick

For Centuries people have used candles to light their way through the darkness physically, through prayer, meditation, & yes, have a greater connection to Saints, Deities, Gods, & Spirits. The candle is seen as a beacon of connection. It’s bright, warm, dancing glow, & melting of the wax shows change in progress, reminding us that we too can change. But today we have many different options, which one is best?

Elysia, known as The Naughty Faery since the early 2000’s has been weaving her way through Candle Magic/k for over 30 years. Using her own take on Color Theory, Symbolism, & Magic/kal Herbal knowledge, & ethical approach to create change in many clients lives. Making her the Candle Magic/k Maven she is today.

In this class you will learn different ways to approach & choose the best candles for your needs & see samples of her own work. Prizes will also be given throughout the class.

This weekend is the Annual Victorian Heritage Festival here in Port Townsend!! One of my favorite events of the year because I LOVE seeing people in their garb from a time that often seemed simpler... Ok, maybe not the clothing & a few other things, lol. But I have always admired the ingenuity that people put into recreating Older Fashion, especially Victorian era.

So if you're looking for something to do this weekend, you might want to come out this weekend to Port Townsend. The weather is reported to be OUTSTANDING & you may see some pretty wears walking around town, maybe learn a new interesting fact about our VERY interesting tiny City 😉

Don't forget to come down to Undertown & say "Hi" to us while we make candles! If you've been looking for an excuse to get out of town, here's your NUDGE!!! 🥰😇The Heritage Festival starts tomorrow, Friday, April 24th through Sunday, April 26th
