SO, HOW DID CHAOTIC SPORTS MOM CREATIONS EVEN START?
Believe it or not, this whole thing started because apparently cheering from the front row wasn't enough for me.
All the other parents at our gym were making ducks, which were adorable—but I wanted a megaphone.
My kid already knew I was there. I was front and center at every competition cheering her on like my life depended on it.
But I wanted to make absolutely sure she could hear me.
And, if we're being completely real, I wanted to be a little obnoxious about it.
So I made myself one little rinky-dink megaphone.
Was it my best work? Absolutely not. 😂
But I posted that little megaphone in a cheer craft group, somebody saw it, loved it and asked me to make four more for her in her team colors.
And somehow... that was the beginning of all of this.
One megaphone turned into more megaphones. Then came cowbells, keepsakes, tumblers, bag tags, shirts, shoes, ducks and a growing list of things that usually start with me looking at something and saying:
“I bet I could make that.”
What started as one sports mom wanting to be a little extra for her kid became Chaotic Sports Mom Creations—a place for athletes, parents, seniors, teams and anyone else who believes the things they love should never have to be boring.
Sports may have been where Chaotic was born, but that's definitely not where the creativity stops.
Football, soccer, baseball, softball, basketball, volleyball, wrestling, cheer, dance, band, color guard—you name it, I can probably customize something for it.
But here's the important part:
You don't have to play a sport to belong here.
I've made everything from sports gear and senior keepsakes to drinkware, apparel, shoes, home items and plenty of completely random custom creations that started with somebody asking:
“Do you think you could make this?”
And nine times out of ten, my answer is probably going to be:
“I bet I could make that.”
Bring me your colors. Bring me your theme. Bring me the weird idea you haven't been able to find anywhere else.
Because Chaotic may have been born in the stands, but she sure as hell isn't confined to the sidelines.
And underneath all the rhinestones, bows, skulls and ridiculous amounts of sparkle, that's what this has always been about.
Creating something personal.
Showing up for the people you love.
Being seen.
Being heard.
And making something that's unmistakably yours.
That one little megaphone eventually turned into creations traveling across the country and even across the damn ocean to Australia, which is still absolutely insane to me.
Every order, every share, every recommendation and every person who has trusted me enough to hand me an idea and say “do your thing” has helped turn that rinky-dink megaphone into something I never expected.
So if you're new here, welcome to the chaos.
And if you've been here since those early megaphone days, thank you for helping me build this crazy little thing into what it is today.
Turns out being obnoxious from the front row paid off after all.
