This was pretty cool to do. Pay a little respect to those PA Fly Tyers and Fly Fisherman that came before us. I wonder if my Grandfather Pfeilstucker ever tied a Honey Bug?

Using vintage fly tying equipment was a humbling experience. It dang near killed me to strip pieces of material from that Honey Bug chenille. There is not a whole lot of it out there these days. I’m really pumped with how these turned out.

These flies are not 100% period correct, but correct enough for me. The flies will never see the water but think these photos and the display turned out really sweet!
