After dropping Lincoln off at school this morning, I was going to go home, get ready, and start my day.
But instead, I felt the need to go to the salon.
Not to clean. Not to stock. Not to work.
Just to pray.
I walked through this place and prayed over every person who will walk through these doors today. I prayed for their hearts, their families, their struggles, their worries, and the things they may be carrying that no one else knows about.
This song has been playing over and over in my home, in my car, and now at the salon.
The Jesus I Know Now.
And I keep thinking…if 16-year-old Misty only knew what I know now. 🥹
She had no idea what life would bring. She didn’t know about the hard seasons, the heartbreak, the answered prayers, the blessings, or just how faithful Jesus would be through every single season.
I’m sharing this because I truly believe someone needs to hear it today.
Jesus is still there.
He hasn’t forgotten you.
He hasn’t given up on you.
And your story isn’t over.
And even if you never tan with me, if you ever need someone to talk to, someone to listen, or someone to pray with you…please reach out.
I promise I’ll listen.
I’ll pray with you.
And I’ll remind you of the Jesus I know now. 🤍
