Meet the 404! This is the first artists model, and a great example of a custom baseplate.
The 404 is a raw, vintage-modern humbucker best suited for 80's-90's rock to classic metal. With a 14k output and an alnico 5 magnet, the tone available here has a slightly scooped eq with very tight bass response, an aggressive high end sizzle and a chunky attack with strings combining excellently. This is a matched set of covered Glaive humbuckers. The neck is customized with an alnico 8 magnet and the bridge comes standard with one. The purpose of this set is to retain attack and clarity in a baritone guitar. You can hear sound samples at the link in my bio.
