STRAWBERRY VILLAGE!?!?! It turns out that less than an hour from Rome is a magical little strawberry village called Nemi! Famous for its tiny wild strawberries that have been celebrated with an annual strawberry festival since 1922! According to local legend, the strawberries were born from Venus’s tears after the death of Adonis and turned into tiny red hearts. Wowowowow.

🍓 OH, HI STRAWBERRY LUVERS! 🍓

This year we are celebrating 5 YEARS (!!) of the strawberry museum! 🍓✨ The application for submitting your strawberry art is LIVE and linked in our bio/website. The deadline to submit is Sunday, May 24th.

The strawberry museum celebration officially begins Friday, June 5th 🤠🍓 with events happening all month with friends & more!

Strawberries are already coming in from our friends at ! We got 30 flats this week to start prepping!!! If you’re interested in ordering pints or flats plz DM for now! 🍓

The most common question we get is…what the heck is zuckercreme & the strawberry museum?

Zuckercreme is our ice cream & strawberry shop in Portland — aka home of the strawberry museum!

We’re open year-round, and yes… we’re always strawberry-themed! Along with our themed gift shop, we have a year-round strawberry cafe & ice cream menu that’s always in season. We work with Pablo Muñoz Farms to prep and process as many berries during peak season as we can to feature in our menu all year long.

So what’s different about june?

Summer & Strawberries are here! To celebrate, we go all out and launch the official Strawberry Museum Celebration:

because of you, it’s become a true neighborhood spot. a place your kiddos love. a space that connects us in the most special way. you turned it into a third space, a home away from home, & that is the highest honor i could ever receive.

🥹 wowowow the shop quietly turned THREE YEARS OLD october 1st! the shop & collective would love to see you for a lil’ halloween party WED 10/30 5-7!! i’ll have our new cafe & ice cream menu ready, will be teaching FREE felting from 5-7 making little acorns, & more fun announcements/surprises!

while there is much to say about the journey, for now i just want to say i am so grateful to YOU, the community who has kept this little shop going! i just re-signed the lease for another FIVE years!!!! which means i need to do a lot of work to make those years successful…here are some projects in the works!
