George Wells Passes Away at Age 72. Former WWF, Mid-South, and World Class Championship Wrestling performer George Wells passed away in early 2020, with his death confirmed by his family. Wells reportedly had “lots of health issues,” including kidney problems that required dialysis, as well as diabetes. Wells, who was in his early 70s, wrestled Jake “The Snake” Roberts at WrestleMania 2. Before wrestling, the Oakland native was drafted by the San Francisco 49ers and played eight seasons in the Canadian Football League. His wrestling career began in 1974 and continued until the early 1990s. Condolences were extended to Wells’ family and friends following his passing.

The Cauliflower Alley Club is saddened to learn of the passing of Paul LeDuc, a respected and enduring figure in Québec professional wrestling.

From his legendary tag team with Jos LeDuc to his lifelong dedication to independent wrestling, Paul left an indelible mark on the industry he loved. His contributions spanned generations, and his passion for professional wrestling remained with him throughout his life.

We extend our heartfelt condolences to Paul’s family, friends, colleagues, and all those whose lives he touched.

Rest in peace, Paul!
