Finally got the bugs worked out of the streaming setup so I’ll be running the Deep Jungle whatnot sale tomorrow, Wednesday March 25th at 1:30 PST, along with some other nice bits. Pretty much all these Deep Jungle slabs are sold out at the source, and most I only have like 1-3 of, so tomorrow might be the only chance to get them without the pain of uk shipping and tariffs. We have what are probably the only copies of the former in the states, but going to wait to offer them until they are out of their USA allocated copies via Bandcamp (although we may sell one on a whatnot auction on Friday perhaps). I used to think that Portland was not a good place to hear purveyors of USA art forms, as it seemed back when those artists would come to the city, have a look around, and sort of play for the crowd. Now, after years of bearing witness to incredible shows in intimate settings (including bringing through a couple months back) I now feel that Portland is likely one of the best places to see and hear such artists in a setting sized to carry the atmosphere. Tonight is a perfect example, with Brett Dancer, pinnacle of Baltimore deep house, .listeningbar . Ticket link in the story post. Catch it, or hear about it and wish you had.

Still feeling a little singed from having a record bag stolen out of my van in Oakland after the show with in SF last weekend (yeah, I know, don’t leave anything in your car), along with all my physical dubplates, so going through some of the new still I’ve had cut for the show Friday with , , and Lu .listeningbar which is being put on by the always up front . What is cut would include the bonus tracks by for the next release, and as for what is not cut, well, listen to the videos. I never really decide what I’ll play until the last minute, so no guarantees, but if I get up tj this bpm that it’s on the deck with these!

Big Saturday in the lower Haight! Not only are crew hosting myself, and .m_ , but we are kicking things off with a special distro sale , 2-6 PM, featuring the whole crew playing vinyl and selling some of the many hardly every seen in shops titles in person! This will definitely be a fun bit of a sneak peek for the main event later that night! Roll through, and maybe take a bike or a bus, as the whole haight will be kicking off with the dead’s 69th being this weekend…

Weekend detroit dump. A few down is the former Simpsons records (which I posted a approach video of some years back, it is soon to be a bar from one of the people behind outer limits in hamtramck) comparing the video really shows how the area has transformed. Just always stuff to get into in this town, plus the fireflies are out in force this year.

pt.2 …And , which was an amazing thing to happen upon whilst heading in for a supply reload. There simply isn’t anything else in this world like powwow singing. It seems to be all forms of passion at once. Didn’t focus on getting up to play records at key times the rest of the trip due to fatigue/relentless mosquitoes/dust/high desert dry out getting to me (apologies for that to those I told I’d be making an appearance, in particular and missing the wacky song dance off and a late set there, although I did play Sunday up til right before departing as seen in the final spades, which brought out a curious lizard perplexed by a passed out raver). Did do a quick soundsystem warm up over though, which was timely as hearing the and unreleased dubs on that soundsystem in the video in the sixth or so slide really showed that the mastering on them is good and they have no flabby bits. Another massive one in the forest

Pt. 1> random videos. Big up to Harry , Robbie (and everyone else who makes things happen over there, including Geo on the pizza) and for not only figuring out how to power a camp off a musk mobile and the ingenuity to hang one of the biggest disco balls I’ve ever seen close up, but for having the insight to bring plenty of umbrellas, not only for the sun but the freak hail/snowstorm which made as one of a kind of a experience as in years past. The hailstorm was why the crew at the 3rdkltr sound tarped over both us and but it proved to be timely even though it cut Harry and i’s B2B short it was right on time to get over there and experience the latter videos. If anyone has any of the 3 sets I managed to show up for, send em on over.
