This is it, kids! We have been waiting for the final sales day for many moons and I'm excited to report, that moon is finally waning. SO, swing by for a final day of wheeling and dealing and snag discounted goods at bonkers prices... 75% is pretty insane... these last greeting cards, jewelry, journals, beltbuckles, store-fixtures, display items, buttons, mugs, and other things are practically being given away.

That's right... EVERYTHING ELSE REMAINING TOMORROW IS FREEEEEEEE. You heard me, Wednesday April 12th, is free s**t day‼️

It was a whirlwind of a weekend but what fun was had! Such a fantastic closing party and so cool to hang out with so many of my favorite folks at one time 🙈 y'all really showed up for me and I love every one of you so much. ❤️
Today I'm taking apart some fixtures in the shop so we are closed for a couple of days... but back open wed-sat 11-5 and Sunday 11-4 for a final week of the liquidation sale. ALL Remaining merchandise, jewelry, greeting cards and accessories are 50-75% 0ff!

Tomorrow night is our final First Friday art show ever at Redux Gallery! I have this one to look after me today while I wallow in dizziness & nausea 😩 anyone else out there suffer from BPPV? It's a real pain in the ass.. hitting without warning, sometimes for a few days, sometimes for weeks...
Anyway, the shop is closed today because I can't move or handle anything besides a stationary 45 degree angle.
Here's hoping the epley maneuver helps get me out of the house by tomorrow.

What an 🌟AmAziNg🌟 night! 😍
SUCH an epic final show. Wow. I am so grateful to all the folks who showed up and also to the incredible artists who really pulled out all the stops bringing such great pieces to share. I definitely couldn't have done it without you all.

Here's me next to my 3 pieces.. they all have glow in the dark paint on them and the angler fish and firefly squid have LED lighting too. The anglerfish's lantern light is permanent with easy access to a replacable battery on the back with an on/off switch. The squid lighting is temporary (just something fun for the show) the little LED's are just hot-glued on the back and easily pop right off so it reverts back to being a normal stained glass panel.
Today will be nice and slow for a change after an exhaustive week of packing, moving and show prepping... phew! I'll be hanging out at the shop from 11-5 and setting up a few tables in the back of last remaining old Redux merchandise, marked down to 50-75%. Come on down and enjoy some fine glass art, some deals on gifts and jewelry and say hello as we enter the final month for Redux!

Our final artist feature leading up to our amazing stained glass show opening this first Friday is .... 🥁 🥁 🥁
ME! Yours truly has three pieces in the show all made in the last month. I used glow in the dark paint and there *might* be some magical additional lighting elements involved if all goes well. ✨️ fingers 🤞
I'm Tamara Goldsmith and I curated the show for this final month of March at Redux to celebrate the culmination of my 18 year journey as shop owner and gallerist. It's a momentous occasion indeed and I hope if you are unable to make it to the show opening this Friday (5-8pm) you will find some time to swing by and check out all these incredible pieces gathered together, in the weeks that follow. We will be having another closing party on the 31st of March.

I had a woman in the shop yesterday who was beyond excited to have found and purchased this sweet little “Piece Out” Enamel pin, but returned about an hour later with a very sad look on her face. 😢 

She was SO distraught ...to have already lost the pin. 😭 She said it reminded her of her long-lost sister, who always used to say “Peace Out!” Thus, losing it was soul crushing. She thought we had a second one, but after hunting high and low, couldn’t find it anywhere in the shop.  She settled on a different replacement pin, but I could tell she was just so deflated about it. After she left, I FOUND the one we still had in stock, in a very weird spot, nestled in with the greeting cards on the opposite side of the store. I can only assume she absentmindedly put it there? Anyway, if she is by chance reading this… hopefully you found the original one that was lost… but if you didn’t… come on back in! Your replacement pin is waiting for you! PIECE OUT, sister!!!
Meanwhile, we are getting ready to Peace-out ✌️ over here at Redux, where after a long, lovely retail road, we are finally about to pack it in and move on to greener pastures. Today we are open from 10am until 4pm to start our final day of the liquidation sale in the gift-shop. In March we will be operating mainly as a stained glass gallery.
Join me this Friday for the very LAST First Friday party Redux will ever bring you 🥳 it's gonna be a blast, in a clean, shiny gallery space I've been working hard to liquidate these past few months.

Our next featured artist is Madison Olsen who is bringing some lovely pressed flower pieces to the mix.
Established in 2020 by artist Madison Olsen, Mystery Glass creates handmade contemporary stained glass specializing in the Tiffiny copper foil method. Utilizing color palates and composition to invoke a visual story, Madison’s work is inspired by themes of mysticism, psychedelia, and nature. 
The Opening reception is March 3rd. The closing party will also be the end of REDUX BOUTIQUE and Gallery... after 18 years in biz. 😜

Redux Gallery presents NINE talented artists for an upcoming final exhibition in their Central Eastside shop and gallery space. Redux has been a cornerstone venue for artisans and makers to sell their functional and decorative wares in a shop and gallery setting. Pre-Covid, Redux featured art shows regularly every First Friday to celebrate and support locally made work, encouraging the creative endeavors of local artists and promoting sustainable commerce. Please join us this March for Redux’s last month in business and final show to celebrate the culmination of this retail/gallery adventure, support some talented emerging and established artisans, and spread some love for this unique and ancient art form.
