Have you checked out our wet specimen case at our NW location recently? 👀
Unlike traditional taxidermy, which typically preserves an animal’s skin and sometimes parts of the skeleton, wet specimens preserve the entire specimen in fluid including internal organs and soft tissue. This allows the body to remain largely intact and makes wet preservation especially useful for studying anatomy and natural history.
