The change of season brings big changes for Material Objects this fall.
After over forty years of tending to our shop, Susan and I are ready to hand over the reins to our longtime friends and coworkers, Hannah and Billy .
Their love for our shop and community, energy and unique perspective make them perfect stewards to carry the spirit of MO into the future.
We’ve loved being a part of your lives!
You came in with friends, complimented fellow shoppers, brought us treasures, asked for honest fashion advice, met cute dogs, heard a song you loved, brought a new generation to shop the racks you browsed as a teen and made us smile. Every day.
Whether you first found MO the top of a long set of stairs on Exchange St in the 80s or at our forever home on Congress St, we hope you found that perfect something and felt at home whenever you walked through our doors.
We are profoundly grateful for the support and trust you’ve given us over the years.
The best part of MO has been the community.

Big big love to our staff- past and present.
Your intelligence, innovation, humanity, humor, hard work and style are woven into every fiber of MO.
