Join us Thursday, June 18th for a Silver Falls Photo Hike at led by Sony rep .hawk ! We’ll be exploring the iconic South Falls trail, including the breathtaking section that takes you behind the waterfall and down to the base for some incredible photography opportunities.

Whether you love landscape photography, waterfall photography, nature photography, hiking, or just want an excuse to spend the day creating with other photographers, this is going to be such a fun event.

On the go size… BIG nostalgia 🎞️

110 film cameras were first introduced in the 1970s as an easy, compact way for everyday people to take photos without needing bulky gear or complicated settings. Pocket-sized, affordable, and simple to use, they quickly became the “take everywhere” cameras of their time.

Now… have they held up against modern cameras? 😅 Not exactly… You’re not getting razor sharp images or perfect low-light performance out of one of these little guys. BUT what you do get is something digital cameras can’t always replicate: that dreamy, nostalgic vintage look that feel straight out of an old family photo album.

There’s just something fun about tossing one in your pocket, taking it on a road trip, or snapping random everyday moments on film. Imperfect? Absolutely. Charming? Even more so.

🌸📸 What an amazing day at Schreiner's Iris Gardens

We had such a wonderful turnout for our Iris Garden Photo Walk, and as always, one of our favorite parts was getting to meet so many members of our incredible Shutterbug community 💛 From familiar faces to first-time attendees, thank you all for spending the day with us!

The gardens were absolutely stunning — honestly, it felt like walking through a fairy garden 🌷✨ We even got a little rain for part of the walk, but it quickly cleared up and left us with the prettiest water droplets on the iris petals, making for some truly beautiful photos. Sometimes Oregon weather really comes through for photographers 😅🌦️

A huge shoutout to our awesome Salem team member David for capturing these fun behind-the-scenes moments of our community and staff throughout the day 📸

Events like these are such a special reminder of how creative, kind, and passionate the photography community is, and we’re so grateful we get to share these experiences with all of you.
