Isn’t this just lovely 😊
Recently with a health issue I found myself really asking my inner being why stick around? I’ve had a great life, have a great love, a beautiful family that is a blessing to all who cross their path. I’ve done what I came here to do. I know Doug is waiting for me, new adventures, new fun, why am I still here?
The answer I got was you are here to love, be love, plant new seeds, be an uplifter, who better than you, at this time and place? We need more lovers stepping up, loud, filled with laughter and hope. So for now that’s my job description, and I love it.
Yes, I’ve been called a Pollyanna more than once, and so I am. I like it, it feels good. One thing I’ve learned that for me, if it feels good, do it!
So onward we go. Broadcasting from station LOVE 101.3. I look out my window and see the Council Crest tower, the highest elevation in Portland, flashing to me when I get up and go to bed. If I can look at it and say I loved unconditionally today, I had fun, I was connected to Source, it was a good day, I was a conduit of wellbeing, on this my “one more day on planet earth
“ it will of been a success.
Come join me, let’s find the smiles together 🌺♥️🌺
Not all of us will leave this life,
With letters after our name,
No trophies on our mantelpiece,
That’s not our purpose or our aim.
Our wealth won't be in bricks or gold,
No fancy mansion standing tall,
We won't bequeath a treasure trove,
Just precious memories to recall.
We won't possess the things of worth,
No jewels to pass down through the years,
But in our hearts, a richer gift,
A legacy of caring that gently steers.
For every kind word that we spoke,
Each hand held out in times of need,
A life that sought to lift the soul,
In love, we have planted our humble seed.
So when we leave this world behind,
Let it be love that we impart,
For in the end, what truly lasts,
Is a legacy from the heart ...
