It’s our first collaboration event in 2026! JinJu Patisserie is honored to be a part of March 19-21st, celebrating Asian American excellence in food and wine. We are excited to bring together chefs and winemakers from Oregon who are shaping food and beverage through craft and community. Don’t miss out our last 3 days of service. Closed on Christmas but open 8am-12pm on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Last chance to be able to purchase chef Q’s jumbo croissants, chef Jin’s handmade bonbons and of course, our desserts! Dear JinJu friends and family,
It is with heavy hearts that we share the news of our current location’s closing. JinJu’s last day of service will be December 28th. We have been so fortunate to accomplish our goals beyond our expectations over the past six years, and now it’s time for a new chapter. We are incredibly grateful for the support of our community and thankful for our team, who cheered us on during both the good times and the challenging ones.
We’ve been searching for a new home for JinJu Patisserie for quite some time. We almost signed a seven-year lease on a state-of-the-art facility, but uncertainty around the economy, our health, and the steep financial obligations made us reconsider such a significant commitment. We believe that by staying true to our core values, in a city we love so much, we need to remain boutique and flexible. We are passionate about bring our delicious products to you and controlling the quality of everything we create.
As of now, we are still searching for a new space for our bakery. If you know of a second-generation bakery/restaurant in East Portland, or other retail space that could be modified into a bakery, or even an older home that could be used as a micro-bakery, please message us on IG or email us at [email protected]. We’d also appreciate it if you could share this post with anyone who might have more information.
In the meantime, please check our social media for updates on our involvement with pop-ups, collaborations with other chefs, and upcoming events in 2026. We’ll also be sharing updates on our lives, travels, and what’s cooking in our kitchen.

Saturday (11/22) special alert!‼️ Passionfruit Vanilla Kouign Amann starting 11am until sell out. Crispy, caramelized croissant exterior with a soft, buttery, and flaky interior. Filled with passionfruit vanilla bean curd, chantilly creme and passionfruit gelee. 2 per household please. 🙏 Also let’s wish a happy birthday to chef Q turning 15 this Saturday. I mean 21!!! 😜

Caramelized garlic butter-cream cheese croissants this Saturday 🥐. We, Koreans LOVE garlic. If you asked French Chefs this might be a considered a crime to marry classic butter croissants with 1kg of fresh garlic🤭. Our rules! Available 11am until sell out.

What a beautiful sunny Saturday we had! Thank you all for visiting us today. We featured so many new items to current menu and you absolutely wiped us out. We will continue to bring our A game this month with our creations! Thank you and we love you!

Kind words do wonders for us. A random biker yelled “You guys are awesome! as he was passing by JinJu as he saw us leaving the shop. That shout touched us today. We were not open for service, but we are always prepping and putting countless hours behind closed doors to build our thriving bakery.
We hear and understand your unsatisfied comments-hours are too limited, certain items get sold out too early, too expensive, etc. Honestly, we’ve been struggling lately. It’s been a constant battle to run our small business at a steady pace. We ask for your patience with us as well as other small businesses. We are trying our hardest to welcome everyone within our current capacity and limitations.
