This Saturday will be the last day that I will have my doors open. : (
I have enjoyed our neighborhood and loved keeping your bikes riding safely.
We will be having a gigantic sale to clear things out. (down to the kitchen.)
It looks like it will be nice out so you should stop by to say "hello".
We might even strike up a BBQ : )

So long folks!
After 11 plus years, A Better Cycle is closing its doors. Full service intakes will stop on May 1st, 2019. We will shut down permanently soon after that.

We are so proud of our time here as your local, neighborhood bike shop. Thank you all so much for the opportunity to live and work the way we wanted to for over a decade! We love you all.

If your in Portland keep your eyes peeled for this bike that was stolen from Gladys over the holiday break. The battery is not in the bike so it may have been ditched already. More eyes looking will hopefully get this bike back.

Super excited for this wheel build!!! We got a blast from the past here with a rear (!) Sturmey Archer Dynamo 3-speed hub paired with a vintage Raleigh industries front hub. And to finish off this classic look these hubs are gonna be laced up on polished cr-18 rims (26*1 3/8). Check back in for progress!

Before(blue) and after(gray) pics of a really fun rebuild done recently. New wheel set built on Ultegra F/R hubs with Mavic Open Pro rims and fresh powder coat on frame.
