Meet Ingrid, the store manager (and much more) Coral Story Beauty 🌟

You can find Ingrid greeting you at the front desk, writing personal notes for shipping orders, taking care of business as designated Coral Story handyman, and being a chemist behind the scenes crafting our hawiyaba perfume and body oil 🫧

Ingrid loves the challenge of finding the product that will make all your dreams come true - whether it be makeup, skincare or body care. She loves to study formulas, what makes them unique, the science behind them, and who they are best for.

Our beloved Ta**us queen keeps us on track and makes sure the job gets done. She has an eye for detail, a love of joyful colors, a soft spot for purple flowers, and the sweetest laugh🪻

When not at Coral Story, you can find Ingrid starting too many new craft projects, enjoying a fun cocktail and delicious meal at a local restaurant, cuddling with her sweet black cat, sipping on an iced latte, and taking the FX2 bus (big fan of public transit)🧵🍹🐈‍⬛🚃

Sarah from Ishq is teaching a Scalp Oil Massage Workshop at Coral Story, and we want you to join us! Sarah's family of healers in Southern India have been making their unique scalp oil recipe for as long as anyone can remember, and this is the oil that will be used during the workshop.

Scalp massage stimulates circulation, which can increase hair growth. Most noticeably, scalp massage will relieve tension and will help you foster spiritual, emotional and mental well being. Indigenous communities have understood this for centuries! Sarah will teach us the ancient wisdom, ancestral healing and Ayurvedic medicine that go into her beautifully crafted products.

Meet Jenni, the makeup artist behind under bloom artistry 💋

Jenni focuses first and foremost on your experience - how to make you feel at home in your skin and ensuring you feel like your authentic self in a face of makeup. She is an artist of many mediums, and she treats makeup like a painter’s palette - thoughtfully selecting textures and colors that are in harmony with you.

With a background as an esthetician, focused on holistic wellness, she will keep you grounded in the moment, moving through your makeup session centered in self-care and slow beauty.

Jenni offers a listening ear to ensure you get the look you are inspired by. From a fresh face of no-makeup makeup to a full wedding glam, this girl can do it all. Jenni was a preschool teacher in a previous life, and it is clear that she knows how to slow down and teach you the ropes in your own timing. Makeup lessons are one of her most precious offerings, to instill confidence in yourself with a makeup brush in hand.

For a moment in time, you can be the center of Jenni’s art-filled world. You are the canvas, and she will show you how to love and honor the person you see in the mirror. Jenni offers this love, care, and attention to everyone she encounters. Jenni is LGBTQIA+ friendly and loves to work with any person in any stage of life.

Jenni has been offering makeup appointments monthly at Coral Story, and you don’t want to miss the next one on July 24th! She has become more than an artist to us, but a friend as well. We know you will love her as much as we do! 💌

When Jenni is away from our shop, you can find her playing with her two pups at the river, tending to her roses in the garden, listening to jazz with her hubs, writing poetry and painting canvases in the sun, thrifting for hidden treasures, and pulling tarot cards by candlelight 🕯️🌹🪞
