95 Exchange St. is STILL our new home!
Only change, we’re not moving on May 26 as initially planned - more below!

Welp, remember when we announced that with any move, things might go sideways? Seems we tempted the gods and they answered!

The good news! Our new home remains 95 Exchange Street, Lower Level!

For a little longer, we are still open at
24 Exchange Street!

The funky news? Our moving date is being pushed forward to the end of June and we will announce that with greater precision when we have that information.

What happened? 95 Exchange St, Lower Level is currently zoned for office use and required a change of use to retail so we could have a smooth transition. We learned this week that the permitting process is delayed a couple weeks longer than expected (though, nobody’s fault).

Had we moved next week, we faced the prospect of being closed for a few weeks in June while that process unfolded. This bump in the road required some quick adjustments and we are grateful it worked out as well as it did!

What now? We remain open at 24 Exchange for 1 more month!
Our current landlords have been truly fabulous and extended us as much time as we need so we can minimize downtime when the shift happens. The movers were equally helpful and accommodating.

In many ways, this change of plans is actually good thing. We are here through Pride! ♥️

We get to take a breath because moving is super stressful. We also get another month to get the word out and continue our plans for an epic scavenger hunt with other local businesses! And best yet? We now get to launch some new goodies we were saving for the move!

Soon you will find us at 95 Exchange St, LOWER LEVEL ♥️

We promised we weren’t going far! 🥰

While we kept our eyes out for a new home over the years, our search began in earnest last summer. The opportunity to move to 95 Exchange Street came together rather quickly. We are so grateful to our new landlords and look forward to meeting our new neighbors. The space is huge, gorgeous, and provides many avenues for future growth. We are so excited and here are the most important bits!


🌱 Our last day at 24 Exchange St. will be May 25

🌱 Closed Tuesday May 26 through Thursday May 28

🌱 Opening our new doors Friday May 29! Keep your eyes on our socials! We will promote various sales as we get closer to the day and sneak peeks of our new home

🌱 Given the huge costs associated with this move, Come Again cards are not currently redeemable. Stamps can be collected with regular priced goodies (for every $20 you spend, you get one stamp!)

HIV is manageable!

With today’s treatments, people living with HIV can live long, healthy lives ♥️

Frannie Peabody Center has been working around the clock to ensure Maine’s community has access to FREE and accessible resources like the Self-Test HIV kits.

Thanks to the team at the center, Nomia Boutique (located on Exchange street downtown Portland) now carries these free kits. Anyone can come to the counter and ask for a kit, or pull one of the discreet tabs located at the community board and pass it along to staff. The kit is pre-packaged in a discreet bag for your privacy.

Kits and additional testing, as well as other resources, can be accessed at Frannie Peabody Center (30 Danforth St, Portland). Kits are also available at other organizations within Southern Maine.
