This was a really special day. I was lucky enough to cross paths with in 2018 after quite some time. We both lived in Rumford when I was a wee little thing. Since then, we worked together for 2 years and I was lucky to have her as a friend, and a coworker. I remember the day I first told Mollie about opening Dirty Dozen. She was one of my first customers, and a very loyal one to this day. I remember her saying how I would be her wedding florist whenever she got married. At the time, she wasn’t engaged. Sure enough, Byron popped the question and Mollie was getting married! The pre-wedding process had been very virtual for me, since I opened a business mid pandemic. I was estatic to be working with a friend where this wouldn’t be the case. Mollie and I were able to go get margaritas and talk about her wedding (okay fine, yes we also took celebratory tequila shots). We also were able to get together for coffee just before the wedding to make sure we had all the details ironed out. This was a wedding that felt close to home, and it came together so beautifully. I even got to spy on her and Byron’s “first look” photo shoot while setting up. Along all of these already special moments, I also got to be the right hand to her day of coordinator, , who I also worked with previously and she kicked ass. The day was beautiful, the venue was beautiful, the people were beautiful, but most importantly, Mollie looked incredibly stunning. To be able to be a part of Mollie and Byron’s big day was a gift I will always cherish. I wish them the happiest of marriages, though I know they don’t even need the wishes. They’re the real deal. CONGRATULATIONS MOLLIE AND BYRON. I hope you crushed all the cases of champagne, and have endless more. Cheers to you both ✨🥂
