Looking for a new coffee experience in downtown Portland? Step into Halo-Halo for a sip straight from the Philippines. Located at Union Way across from Powell's Books .

From Shop Halo Halo | Geleen Abenoja - 🇵🇭 Did you know? The Philippines is one of the few countries that grows all four species of coffee: Robusta, Excelsa, Arabica, and Liberica.

Mindanao is the heart of Philippine coffee production. The Philippine Coffee Industry Roadmap reports that Mindanao accounted for about 83.6% of national coffee production, with particularly important production areas in SOCCSKSARGEN, Davao, and Northern Mindanao.

Our current in house blend from Barkada Coffee Roasters comes from Sitio San Roque, located in Barangay Pigtauranan, Pangantucan, Bukidnon in Northern Mindanao. Slow brewed for cold brew and freshly ground for our pour over, this blend has tasting notes of plum, apricot, and honey roasted almonds. It’s smooth, nostalgic, and absolutely comforting 🤤

We’re now carrying 8oz retail bags from BARKADA COFFEE ッ • Kristal B., grown in Sitio K’nawal in South Cotabato as well! Each coffee purchase helps support the family and community-run farms in which these beans are grown. Stop by for a sip!
