Gotta love some good before and after photos! This Farrand upright grand needed a bridge repair and the old strings were just too old to be able to be put back on, so I took the opportunity to give the piano a good scrub down before the new strings went on. It's almost ready to go home, it just needs several more tunings.

This old Chickering grand had some dull notes which turned out to be hammers that didn't have any more felt on them at the top! A sure sign that it's time to get them replaced. The backchecks, felt, and knuckles were also quite worn so those got some attention too..

Little Orchestra officially has a new shop! We have joined the ADX Portland family, a space of over 50 Portland creatives in SE Portland. Two projects are currently underway already with a big surprise coming in next week! ...

We recently got the opportunity to restring an old upright grand that has been in a family for generations. We replaced a lot of parts and the case is being refinished so that by the time it goes back home, it's a brand new piano inside! Follow on instagram for more updates!
