🎓GRADUATION🎓 Motley by James Plattner. The final release for this hybrid humanist geometric sans adds more symbols, punctuation, and arrows. The family of seven weights includes support for Extended Latin and Vietnamese.

🔨UPDATE🔨 Gimme v0.14 by Typearture. Almost every style in Gimme has been retouched in this update, bringing crisper shadows and highlights, and more definition everywhere. A few styles, like Chugga and Battleboats recieved variants. After 14 versions, Gimme is still going strong, with more improvements already in the works! Check out the journal post for more details.

🔨UPDATE🔨 Backslanted v0.6 by CSTM Fonts. This version adds a fun new ‘Circul’ hairline style. The Blackletter style also features an expanded character set covering Extended Latin and Georgian and stylistic alts. Up next broader language support for Circul, and (maybe) new styles.

👋NEW FOUNDRY👋 Please welcome Mara Nolze & Renan Rosatti to the family. Based in Lausanne and Berlin respectively, this collaboration came together over their shared interest in Belwe Antiqua. Their first release with us, Steglitz, is a revival starting with text styles, and improvements for readability and contemporary use. However, it still brings plenty of personality in the swashes, loops, and italics. Future plans include more weights, and Display styles.

✨NEW RELEASE✨ Dialogo by Beam Type and Spizh. Based on the writing of Giovanni Francesco Cresci, this script typeface is an interpretation of the italic genre, reimagining it as an independent display script face. The initial release includes six weights. More styles are on the way along with a variable font, and broader character set including Cyrillic.

Originally commissioned to redesign the lettering of the 1925 crest of the Universidad de Guadalajara, Cátedra evolved into a high-contrast typeface with subtle gestures tied to Guadalajara's neo-colonial style prevalent in the early 20th century.
