Thought it was time to re-introduce myself!! 🥹❤️✨

I’m Anysa, the artist and shop owner behind AWD Textile Designs & AWD Studio + Shop!

What started as me screen printing my own fabrics and sewing bags in my college studio during my junior year has grown into SO much more than I ever imagined. By my senior year, I decided to take a chance on myself and go full time with my business before even graduating. Now I have my own storefront in Portland and multiple stitchers helping bring my designs to life!! Sometimes I can’t believe how far this little college project has come. 🧵🌈

About six months after graduating, I opened AWD Studio Shop as a homebase for my brand and a space to bring together other artists, share inspiration, and support local creativity. ❤️

Whether you first met me in art school, at a market, or through the shop, THANK YOU for being part of this journey. Every purchase, share, and bit of support has helped AWD grow, and I truly wouldn’t be here without you!!

I’m so excited to see what this next year holds for AWD and the shop. So much more to come!! 🥹✨

A little note about the name ❤️ AWD is pronounced “AWED” and comes from the initials of me and both of my parents, who are no longer here with us. It’s my way of carrying where I came from with me as I continue building where I’m going. 🤍

I’ve been wanting to get proper photos of my bags for SO long, but typical artist behavior… I’m in the studio just make make make and forget to actually show off what is being made! 😂

FINALLY got some amazing brand photos of my products and I’m so excited to share these with you!! 🩵

So much more coming soon!! I’ve been working on a website redesign and getting everything ready to open up the online shop 👀✨ I can’t wait to have my products available online and share even more of what I’ve been creating with you all!!

🎄 LOCAL ARTISTS + MAKERS WE’RE LOOKING FOR YOU! 🎄

Our holiday season is coming up, and we’re looking for local artists + makers to help fill the shop with even more handmade, locally made goodies!

We’re a consignment shop in Portland, ME, and we’re currently looking for vendors who make:

• Handmade, printed + sewn clothing
• Body + skincare products (we are stocked on soap!)
• Bag charms + keychains
• Magnets + pins
• Claw clips + hair accessories
• Postcards + notebooks + stationery products
• Perfume, room sprays + other home/fragrance goods
• DIY kits
• Bracelets + jewelry
• Plushies + pillows
• Dog items + accessories
• And anything else you think would be a great fit!

We’re especially looking for products that make great holiday gifts, stocking stuffers, and little treats for yourself or someone you love.

If you’re a local artist or vendor interested in selling with us, send us a DM with info about your products, including what you make, photos of your work, pricing, and your Instagram or website if you have one.

We’d love to discover some new makers and bring more handmade + locally made goods into the shop this holiday season!

Guess what’s this Sunday?!?! Caravan Artist Market ✨ You’ll find me A.W.D. LIVE SCREENPRINTING the poster design for the event!! I was super honored to design this poster for Caravan Artist Market and now you can get it printed on a tote or shirt at the event!! $5 a print if you bring your own goodies! ( I also have blanks + lots of other fun designs!! )

This screen just looked to perfect in the fall leaves to not show yall 🍁

2 weeks away!!! Find me ✨LIVE SCREENPRINTING✨ with Caravan Artist Market in Bath on Sunday October 11th! 🤩 Bring a shirt or tote bag that you want to add a little color to from your closet or browse my rack of blanks + some fun pre printed goodies as well!!

I’ll also have a limited selection of my usual screenprinted + sewn bags and goodies!! Let me know what we want to see!! Small bags? Big bags? Hats? 🤔

I also designed the lovely poster for this event!! And will be printing the design ONLY AT THIS EVENT 😳 So make sure to come + get it while you can!! ✨✨✨
