At Based, we believe that life is an experiment, and creativity is our most valuable asset.
Over the past year, we embarked on our biggest experiment yet: BASED General Store—a conceptual open market space highlighting artists, and brands we care about, rotating lunch menus, and playful, inventive coffee specials.
The beauty and the heartbreak of it all is that the results of experiments are often counter to your original hypothesis—but through creativity, we can reimagine and reinvent.
As of next week, December 8th, Based General Store will be shifting gears and transitioning into an event space.
This means the space will no longer serve as a neighborhood café and market, but will instead be available to rent for parties, off-sites, workshops, photo shoots, etc.
So come get your last cinnamon roll, breakfast sandwich, chocolate cherry latte, and a big ol’ smile from our team this week as we say goodbye to Based General Store in its original iteration.
